Mashrafe is fielding under the leadership of Eoin Morgan

It was already known that Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will play as the only Bangladeshi in the upcoming Legends League. However, the former captain of Bangladesh is entering the field before the Legends League. On the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence, India Maharajas and World Giants will play a friendly match on September 16. Mashrafe will play in this special friendly match.

The Legend Cricket League tournament is basically starting from September 17. Before that, this special friendly match has been organized.

Mashrafe will play for World Giants in the match. World Giants will be led by 2019 ODI World Cup winning former England captain Eoin Morgan. And India Maharajas will be led by India’s successful former captain and current BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly.

India Maharajas vs World Giants match will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The organizers announced the 16-member team of India Maharajas and World Giants ahead of the friendly match. Apart from Mashrafe-Morgan, stars like Herschel Gibbs, Jacques Kallis, Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, Brett Litt and Dale Steiner will play in World Giants.

India Maharajas team will feature Ajay Jadeja, Virender Sehwag, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth.
